Hey! This is Mario.
Ok so let’s get this out of the way now- I am NOT related to Al Capone. Although some would say I’m still killing it- HAH! Get it?! If you’re along on this ride with me get ready to hear a lotttt more corny jokes. I was voted best laugh in high school and it still carries with me everywhere I go. I’m a firm believer that laughing is just so much better than not.
When I’m not behind a camera or computer, I’m most likely crossfitting, enjoying the outdoors with my family or binge watching a murder documentary. Although Friends and Schitt’s Creek are almost always on in the background. I am fluent in English, Spanish and memes and love nothing more than a great meal with even greater company. I will always stop what I’m doing to pet any dog I see and Disney World is my favorite place on the planet. I have worked really hard over the years to find out who I am, and I owe it to wedding photography.
My life hasn’t always been easy.
I was in an abusive marriage, went through a nasty divorce, have been a single mama of 3 that was a total love cynic, lost my dad who was my best friend in the midst of my mess, and through it all I chose a career that revolved around others love stories. I share this because I am always transparent, but also because I swear without even knowing it, my couples stitched my heart back together piece by piece when I was the most broken. I get to live some of life’s most beautiful moments with you- from pre-ceremony jitters to crying when you can’t keep it together during your first look, to completely living it up at your reception. Wedding photography has shown me what love is.
I am so grateful to be welcomed into your most vulnerable moments and my main goal is to give you photos to cherish for a lifetime, but also an unforgettable experience. How do I do that? I genuinely care about you and your wedding. I get to know YOU as a couple on a personal level so that your personalities shine through in your photos. I stay on top of everything that goes into your wedding- from the first e-mail to the “hey lets retouch your lipstick” to the quick delivery time, you are my priority. I want to celebrate you.

Mario started off as a second photographer for Krystal Capone Photography and it wasn't long before he stepped into a Lead Photographer position. With years of experience in the wedding industry, he is able to capture emotions and moments flawlessly . Couples love him because of how well he directs and can bring calmness to any stressful situation that arises.

I’ve been following Krystal on social media for quite some time now and was determined to have her take our engagement pictures. Due to unfortunate circumstances, we had a civil ceremony a couple months after our engagement in order to have my grandpa be part of our wedding. I wanted to do a “first look” with my grandpa but was an emotional wreck. Krystal was able to turn my tears into laughter and my anxiety into joy. To me, that is priceless. My review isn’t so much about her photos. Everyone who has seen her photographs knows she captures the most beautiful pictures. My review is about her work ethic. It is about her willingness to do whatever it takes to capture the moment. It is about her passion and love for her job. That makes all the difference.

My wife and I met Krystal last year for our engagement photo shoot. The final product was absolutely amazing, her photos were so incredible we actual had them made into canvases that now hang on my wall! We recently got married and, needless to say, we had to have Krystal there to capture our most special of days and once again she exceeded all expectations. The pictures of our wedding are stunning and I cannot say enough about her skill! She is extremely professional, makes the photo shoot fun, and will capture moments of your event without you even knowing she is there! My sister-in-law has also used her for family photo sessions and, when the time comes, my wife and I will most definitely be using her for our maternity photos! I cannot say enough about the quality of her work and I highly recommend her for any event!

I knew from the first time we spoke Krystal was who I wanted to work with. She is beyond amazing and captured every part of our special day even better than I could have ever imagined.
